Privacy
The short version
Whatever you paste into a tool on this site is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser. It is not uploaded to our servers, not stored, and not shared with anyone.
Tool input
Specifically, text you enter into any tool on this site is not:
- sent to our servers;
- sent to analytics or advertising systems;
- placed in the page URL or in a query parameter;
- stored in cookies, local storage, session storage or a database;
- written to a log, or included in error reporting;
- hashed or summarised and then transmitted in any form.
This is an architectural property rather than a promise about how we behave: there is no server-side component that processes tool input, and the analytics interface in the code only accepts a fixed set of identifiers such as which tool was opened and which action was pressed. It has no way to carry your text.
When you move from one tool to another, the new page starts empty. That is deliberate — carrying content between pages would mean putting it in a URL or in storage, and we do not do either.
Your clipboard
The site never reads your clipboard. There is no call to the clipboard-read API anywhere in the code, so your browser will not ask for clipboard permission. You paste when you choose to. Copying happens only when you press a Copy button.
What is stored in your browser
One item: your light or dark theme preference, saved in local storage under the keypf-theme. It stays on your device, is never transmitted, and clearing your browser data removes it. No tool content is ever stored.
Hosting logs
Like any website, requests to this site pass through a web server and a content delivery network operated by our hosting provider. Those systems keep ordinary access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and operational purposes. Because tool input never reaches a server, it cannot appear in those logs.
Analytics
Analytics is currently switched off. No analytics or measurement script is loaded on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated first, and the same rule will apply: only fixed identifiers such as which tool was opened and which action was pressed, never your text.
Advertising
No advertising is displayed on this site at the moment, and no advertising script is loaded. When advertising is introduced, this page will be updated to name the provider, and a consent mechanism will be in place first for visitors in regions where consent is required. Advertising will never receive your tool input.
Cookies
See the cookies page for the current position. In short: no cookies are set by this site today.
Third parties
No third-party fonts, scripts, trackers or embeds are loaded. Fonts come from your own operating system, which is also why pages render immediately.
Children
This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Data protection law in the EU, the UK and elsewhere gives you rights over personal data held about you — access, correction, deletion, objection. Because the site holds no account, no profile and no record of what you paste, there is normally nothing to access or delete.
